Have you ever tried praying to God, only to be left wondering whether or not He’s even listening? Well, God not only hears you, He loves you and He wants fill your life with peace, power, and purpose. However, right now– regardless of your age, your background, or your social status, there is an all-out war raging to claim your heart and mind. The battleground is pop culture, and the enemy’s strategy is to keep you separated from God and to get you to embrace values that will ultimately destroy you.

Evidence that the enemy has entered your camp may include one or more of the following: feelings of uncertainty, restlessness, anxiety, insecurity, purposelessness, loneliness, depression, anger, rebellion, greed, envy, materialism, lust, promiscuity, self-hatred, drug or alcohol abuse, cutting, despair, and/or thoughts of suicide.

The first step to winning the battle against the enemy is understanding how he infiltrates into our hearts and minds through music, magazines, advertising, the internet, radio, television, video games, websites, peer groups, and more. The second step is realizing that you are only one prayer away from gaining access to everything you’ll need to reclaim your life and win the war.
